Manicures are a type of beauty treatment that involves shaping, clipping, painting and cleaning your fingernails. Various treatments can help keep your nails healthy and strong, as well as make your hands appear lovely! In addition, manicures can provide physical health advantages by increasing blood flow and circulation in the hands through hand massage. Most essential therapies that do not involve harsh chemicals will keep the nails from becoming weak and brittle.
Pedicures are similar to manicures. However, they are performed on your feet. The same laws apply in this case, where the massage aids in circulation.
Every beauty treatment comes with its advantages, and so do these. Here are some of the positive points about manicures and pedicures.
1. PERMANENT NAIL HEALTH
A manicure or pedicure cleans your nails thoroughly while also ensuring that they look beautiful. Because our hands and feet go through so much daily, this is a vital aspect of maintaining good nail health.
2. A CIRCULATION IMPROVEMENT
When you have a manicure or a pedicure, you usually get a hand or foot massage as well. Massage is a quick and practical approach to improving circulation, particularly sluggish in the winter.
3. THE ELEMENT OF DE-STRESSING
Manicures and pedicures are profoundly relaxing treatments. Aside from the relaxing effects, this is also a terrific opportunity to carve out some time for yourself.
When you think about all of this, it becomes apparent that you might need a manicure & pedicure treatment. Though you can do this yourself, it is not weird to get salon services at home in a busy city like Dubai. However, if you're in a hurry or it's the middle of the night and you need something done right away, you won't be able to wait until the morning; you'll have to do it yourself! But how? Here are the steps.
Manicure:-
(1) To give yourself a blank canvas, remove any previous nail paint with a natural nail polish remover.
(2) To begin your pampering session, soak your hands in a bowl of warm water. The cuticles will soften as a result of this. Using a nail brush, clean under and around your nails and nail beds. Use a scrub to exfoliate the cuticle region; we enjoy a sugar scrub with a calming essential oil like lavender!
(3) Then, using a cuticle pusher, carefully push back the cuticles. A soft washcloth, on the other hand, will suffice. Cuticles help protect the nails from bacteria and diseases, so it's better not to cut them.
(4) Apply coconut oil to each cuticle and massage it into the skin to maintain them healthy. This is something you can perform daily to protect your cuticles and avoid annoying hangnails.
(5) Trim your nails to the length and shape you want.
(6) After that, file your nails, but don't go back and forth. This can weaken, splinter, or snag the nails. Instead, file from one side to the center, then from the opposite side to the center.
(7) Massage your hands and forearms well with your favourite cream. Get your blood flowing again! To avoid destroying your paint job, execute this step now rather than after your manicure and pedicure.
(8) Remove any lotion or oil residue from your nails before painting. Your lacquer will have a hard time adhering to your nails if you neglect this step. You can do this by wiping your nails one by one with a cotton swab soaked in witch hazel.
(9) Start by applying a thin layer of polish to the base of your manicure.
(10) Paint your nails using your favorite nail polish! Begin by painting the center of the nail with the brush, then work your way down either side toward the tips. Apply a second thin coat after that. The key to success is to use many thin layers!
(11) Applying one or two heavy layers will slow the drying period, and your nails will be more prone to dents and smudging.
(12) Polish and let dry for 15 minutes to ensure a long-lasting and lustrous manicure.
Pedicure:-
(a) Choose a large bowl large enough to accommodate your tootsies. Fill it with hot water and detox bath salts. This is a fantastic way to unwind, stimulate circulation, and give your feet a lovely, relaxing soak.
(b) Use a bath sponge or a soft bristles brush to exfoliate your skin from your toes to your calves. You can exfoliate the coarser regions of your foot with a pumice stone if you have one. But make sure you're careful with it. It shouldn't be a painful experience. To get your toes squeaky clean, scrub them with a nailbrush.
(c) Next, press back your cuticles as if you were giving yourself a manicure. To avoid infection, it's essential not to clip the cuticles, as previously said. To keep it moisturized, apply some coconut oil here, too.
(d) Trim your nails to the length you choose. It's important not to cut them too short because this might lead to unpleasant ingrown nails.
(e) After that, file your toenails from one side to the center, then from the opposite side to the center.
(f) To make your feet feel baby soft, use your favorite Whipped Body Butter. Then, before painting, ensure sure any residue is removed from your nails.
(g) It will be easier to paint if you keep your toes separated. You can use cotton or tissue to weave between your toes, or you can buy foam toe separators!
(h) Apply the Horsetail Base Coat Polish first, then your favorite 10-Free Nail Polish and our Glass Top Coat Polish to complete. Allow a few minutes between coats for your nails to dry. Allow for 15 minutes of drying time after applying the topcoat before walking around.
Following these steps, you can give yourselves the best-looking nails you have ever had! You can add a sparkling touch to your already beautiful self and shine out in front of everyone!
